Fehr Trade - PDF Sewing Pattern - VNA Top

The VNA Top sewing pattern from Fehr Trade is a close-fitting, sleeveless workout top with a distinctive design inspired by a 1930s Vionnet evening gown. It combines a front V-neckline with a curved under-bust seam and angular seaming across the back, creating a more considered alternative to a basic sports vest.

The VNA Top has no side seams, while the neckline and armholes are finished with binding for a clean activewear finish. It's designed for stretch jersey and drafted with negative ease, meaning the finished garment is approximately 90% of your body measurements. A fabric with at least 50% stretch in both directions and good recovery is essential.

This is an Intermediate-level sewing pattern, with some experience sewing stretch knits recommended. If you're making the VNA Top as casualwear rather than close-fitting workout wear, Fehr Trade recommends making one size larger for additional wearing ease.

The pattern includes 1cm seam allowances throughout and a 2cm hem allowance.
