Black coating, but with a texture that makes it anything but basic. This deadstock pure wool fabric has a distinctive waffle texture, giving the classic black colour plenty of depth and interest. With the warmth and substantial feel you want from a coating fabric, it’s made for proper outer layers rather than lightweight jackets.
We’d turn this into a beautifully simple oversized coat, tailored jacket, cocoon coat or a statement cape and let that textured surface do the talking. The black makes it incredibly versatile, while the waffle structure gives even the simplest pattern a little more personality. And because it’s deadstock, there’s only a limited amount available. Once this particular cloth is gone, it’s gone.
