We'd make wide-leg trousers, an oversized chore jacket or a classic pinafore for layering through the colder months.

Sewing tips: use a slightly longer stitch length so your machine glides over the ribs, press from the wrong side or with a cloth to protect the pile, and take extra care to match ribs on seams if desired.
