Wool Cotton Suiting Fabric - Cinderfall Fleck

A first glance, this fabric looks like a classic black and white weave, but take a closer look and you’ll spot the playful neppy flecks scattered across the surface in red, blue, orange and purple. Subtle, but full of charm.

The weave itself is a micro sharkskin, which gives the fabric its smart, slightly two-tone appearance. Woven from a blend of 56% wool, 42% cotton and just a touch of polyester, it balances the warmth and breathability of natural fibres with a bit of extra durability. The result is a fabric that feels lightweight and smooth, with a beautiful drape that makes it a joy to sew and to wear.

It’s wonderfully versatile too - think tailored trousers, dresses with a sharp edge, softly structured jackets or even lightweight skirts. The colourful flecks keep it from feeling too formal, so it’s a fabric that works just as well for everyday wear as it does for something more polished.

As a deadstock fabric, this item has been reclaimed from surplus designer production. Using deadstock helps reduce textile waste and brings you unique, non-repeatable fabrics that won't come around again.
