A proper good check with a slightly wild side. Wolfswood Check is a deep green and blue plaid woven from 60% wool, 37% linen and 3% silk, giving this deadstock shirting fabric a lovely mix of texture, character and natural depth. At shirt weight, it’s light enough for comfortable everyday layers while the wool and linen blend gives it more interest than a straightforward cotton check.
We’d make this into an oversized button-up shirt, relaxed overshirt, simple tunic or a classic pyjama set. It would also work beautifully as a lightweight jacket-style layer over a vest or tee. The deep green and blue palette feels particularly good for autumn and winter makes, but the shirt weight keeps it versatile. And being deadstock, there’s only a limited amount available.
