Lilac is a soft mid purple with a gentle, slightly muted quality. Despite its name, this is deeper and more substantial than a pale pastel lilac, with an even colour and a smooth matt surface.

Made from 30% wool and 70% viscose, this wool blend felt combines the warmth and resilience of wool with the soft, silky handle of viscose. It feels soft and comfortable in the hand without the scratchiness often associated with wool felt, making it easy to cut, stitch and handle.

The felt has good body and holds its shape beautifully, while remaining flexible enough to work with easily. Its substantial handle makes it a great choice for bags, purses, toys, appliqué, brooches, accessories, decorations and other handmade projects where you want softness with enough structure to give your finished pieces a quality feel.
