Soot Marl is a dark grey, charcoal and smoky grey marl felt with a subtle heathered appearance that gives the surface depth without changing its beautifully understated character.

Made from 30% wool and 70% viscose, this is a soft, substantial felt with the warmth and resilience of wool and the smooth, silky handle of viscose. The result is a felt that feels soft and tactile rather than scratchy, with a beautifully matt surface and no shine or squeaky feel.

It has enough body to hold its shape well, while still being pleasant to cut, handle and stitch. The wool and viscose blend is also less prone to shrinking than 100% wool felt, making it a dependable choice for bags, toys, appliqué, accessories, decorations and other handmade projects.

A quality wool blend felt with a soft handfeel, excellent structure and a rich, tactile finish that makes it a pleasure to work with.
