Yarn Dyed Cotton Fabric - 17mm Gingham Ochre

Warm Ochre yellow and crisp white create a rich, sunny take on classic gingham in a 17mm jumbo check. The generous scale gives this earthy colourway a bold, graphic quality, making it ideal when you want the gingham pattern to make more of a statement.

Made from 100% cotton, this lightweight fabric has a slightly crisp handle that is easy to sew and holds its shape nicely. It is yarn dyed, meaning the yarns are dyed before the fabric is woven rather than the check being printed onto the surface. This creates a check woven right through the fabric, with both sides fully usable, making it a genuinely reversible gingham.

The jumbo 17mm scale works particularly well for statement summer dresses, oversized shirts, blouses and lightweight separates, as well as home projects such as cushions, tablecloths and napkins.
