Yarn Dyed Cotton Fabric - 17mm Gingham Rockpool

Dusty green and blue come together in Rockpool, a muted take on classic gingham in a generous 17mm jumbo check. The larger scale gives this soft, coastal-inspired colourway plenty of presence, bringing a more contemporary feel to a traditional woven check.

Made from 100% cotton, this lightweight fabric has a slightly crisp handle that is easy to sew and holds its shape nicely. It is yarn dyed, meaning the yarns are dyed before the fabric is woven rather than the check being printed onto the surface. This creates a check woven right through the fabric, with both sides fully usable, making it a genuinely reversible gingham.

The jumbo 17mm scale is particularly effective for statement summer dresses, oversized shirts, blouses and lightweight separates, as well as home projects such as cushions, tablecloths and napkins.
