Yarn Dyed Cotton Fabric - 9mm Gingham Baby Blue

Soft Baby Blue and crisp white create a fresh, classic take on the traditional 9mm gingham check. The larger check gives this gentle colourway a little more presence, making it a versatile choice for summer sewing.

Made from 100% cotton, this lightweight fabric has a slightly crisp handle that is easy to sew and holds its shape nicely. It is yarn dyed, meaning the yarns are dyed before the fabric is woven, rather than the check being printed onto the surface. This creates a check woven right through the fabric, with both sides fully usable, making it a genuinely reversible gingham.

The 9mm scale works particularly well for summer dresses, blouses, shirts and lightweight separates, as well as children's clothing and home projects such as tablecloths, napkins and bunting.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, it has been independently tested for harmful substances, giving added reassurance when sewing garments and projects for yourself or your family.
