Made from 100% cotton, this lightweight fabric has a slightly crisp handle that makes it easy to sew while giving finished pieces gentle structure. It is yarn dyed, meaning the cotton yarns are dyed before being woven into the check. Because the colour is woven through the fabric rather than printed onto the surface, both sides are usable, making this a genuinely reversible gingham fabric.

The larger check works particularly well for summer dresses, shirts, blouses and lightweight separates, where the gingham can become a real feature of the finished garment. It’s also ideal for tablecloths, napkins, bunting and other craft projects.
