Yarn Dyed Cotton Fabric - 9mm Gingham Royal Blue

Bright Royal Blue and crisp white create a classic 9mm gingham with plenty of visual impact. The larger check gives this traditional pattern a fresh, contemporary feel, making it particularly effective for statement summer sewing.

Made from 100% cotton, this lightweight fabric has a slightly crisp handle that is easy to sew and holds its shape nicely. It is yarn dyed, meaning the yarns are dyed before the fabric is woven, rather than the check being printed onto the surface. The result is a check woven right through the fabric, with both sides fully usable, making it a genuinely reversible gingham.

The 9mm scale works beautifully for summer dresses, blouses, shirts and lightweight separates, as well as picnic-inspired home projects such as tablecloths, napkins and bunting.
