The Birgitta Helmersson ZW Tier Dress PDF Sewing Pattern is an incredibly versatile zero waste sewing pattern that allows you to create four different dress styles while producing virtually no fabric waste. Instead of printing large paper pattern sheets, you'll draft the pattern directly onto your fabric using the included cutting layouts and printable templates, making it a fantastic project for sewists interested in sustainable sewing and innovative pattern cutting.

Designed using Birgitta Helmersson's signature paperless drafting method, the ZW Tier Dress includes 10 sizes (XS-6XL)and features three interchangeable cutting plans that can be mixed and matched to create four garment variations: a short strappy dress, a long strappy dress, a short sleeved dress or a long sleeved dress.

Each version features a self-lined bodice above the bust with a beautifully gathered A-line skirt. An optional gathered lower tier adds extra volume and movement, while the gathered sleeves feature comfortable elasticated cuffs. If sewing a strappy version without sleeves, the shoulder straps are cut from a contrast or remnant fabric, making excellent use of smaller fabric pieces.

The pattern includes two layout options depending on your size, with additional cutting layouts provided for sewists working with fabric widths outside the recommended range.

As a digital sewing pattern, your files are available to download instantly after purchase. Unlike traditional PDF sewing patterns, there are no full-size pattern sheets to assemble. Instead, you'll receive a comprehensive instruction booklet, cutting layouts and printable templates, requiring just 15-18 A4 or US Letter pages to be printed before drafting the pattern directly onto your fabric.
