Sweet as its name, Rhubarb & Custard is a playful pink and yellow mini gingham fabric with a tiny 2.5mm check and a subtle seersucker texture. The seersucker gives the surface a gentle puckered texture, adding dimension to the classic gingham without making it feel overly crinkled.

The fabric has a lightweight, floaty feel without being flimsy, making it especially lovely for garments where you want movement, gathers or a little volume. It's soft and easy to wear, with a lovely airy quality that makes you want to swish about in it.

We'd turn the mini gingham into a gathered blouse with statement puff sleeves, a floaty summer dress or a relaxed shirt. It's equally sweet for children'swear, from little dresses and blouses to elasticated shorts and co-ords.

Made from a cotton blend and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, it's a lovely choice when you want a classic gingham with a little more texture and personality.
